Welcome. I am a philosopher working on political, legal and social philosophy.

My research looks at the morality of novel institutions and technologies. I am an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Utrecht. Before that, I was a permanent lecturer in Political Theory at the University of Manchester’s MANCEPT. From 2019 to 2021, I was a Research Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, where I worked on Solidarity. Before that, I was a postdoc at University of Zurich’s Centre for Ethics.

I am an associate editor of Digital Society and, since 2025, de Gruyter’s book series in Practical Philosophy.
